DSC phone systems feature automatic call answering capability that can automatically route calls to the appropriate extension within your organization by prompting callers to enter either the name of the person or the extension. The name can be determined by using any phone key input, such as the alpha equivalent numeric key (which produces 3 possible values). The system can also be programmed to require 2 entries per alpha value (first being the alpha range, and the second being 1, 2, or 3 which represents the position).
Our IVR telephone directory lookup can be programmed to require any number of alpha characters to uniquely identify the person in the directory. If duplicates exist, the DSC phone system can speak each person's name with an option to select this individual if this is the desired contact.
